INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has issued its first call for presentations for the 2014 World of Wipes (WOW) conference set to take place June 2-5, 2014 in Minneapolis, MN. Presentations at WOW will focus on a series of market and technical topics to provide opportunities for industry leaders to review the latest research, product innovation and market applications for all wiping products and their components. WOW will target end-use wipe manufacturers, converters and their suppliers. Abstract topics The WOW committee is currently inviting abstracts from the industry for the following topics: • Antimicrobials • Dry & Wet Wipes • End-use Markets Automotive Baby & toddler wipes Bathing Cosmetic Electrostatic Hard surface Industrial, Healthcare, Food Service Personal care (adult) • Raw Materials & Fibers Bicomponent fibers Binders-Standard and Specialty Biobased fibers PP & PET Rayon, Lyocel & Cotton • Flushability & Dispersibility • Machinery & Equipment • Market Statistics & Data Global Americas Europe Asia Emerging Markets Sales ($ million or tonnage) by type or region • Packaging Flexible & Rigid • Preservatives & Fragrances • Substrate Formation Airlaid Carded Coform Composites Needlepunch Spunlace Spunlaid Wetlaid Abstract guidelines Authors interested in presenting at WOW on these or related topics should submit an abstract electronically to Deanna Lovell ([email protected]). Abstract submissions should be 1-2 paragraphs in length, include contact information (phone and email), and contain information on the relationship of the research to wipes or wipe manufacturing. Abstracts should be submitted no later than December 13, 2013. Authors will be notified about their abstract’s status within 30 days after confirmed receipt.
